Awards
The AAI has been presenting the Volare Award recognizing achievement in commercial avionics since 1968,and the award has been a treasure for the individual selected. The award is normally given in the AMC and AEEC categories; however, we also offer the AAI's Special Award for the individual whose talent has led to the advancement of the Avionics Industry.
The Pioneer Award recognizes and honors the individual who has pioneered a technical or other innovation having a major, long term impact on the application of electronics, electric's, or instrumentation to commercial airline operations.
